Kick The Habit

21 March 2019

It may take longer than 21 days for your new habit to be a part of your life. Don’t beat yourself up on Day 22. That number is derived from 60-year old research.

New studies reveal it takes anywhere from 18 to 254 days for a new habit to form. Just be consistent. Pray about the habit you want to incorporate into your lifestyle. Dig deep for the discipline you didn’t know you had.

That’s what I’m doing and if it takes a little while, that’s okay. Habits like increasing my physical activity, mentally counting macros, meditating on Scriptures more often, etc. are habits I pray I develop and never have to kick.
